We have a strong permacultural vision and are leading the way to pastures new by offering a conscientious design, project management and construction solution to both the public and private sectors which specialises in sustainable buildings and providing renewable energy solutions which are sympathetic with the environment and are working towards a steady, stable world in a time when the echoes of the crude oil based 'boom and bust' economy are whispers on the wind. We have experience of working with Passif Haus standards, straw bale buildings, and cob and specialise in the use of natural lime in building.

We create beautiful living spaces which can be breathable, natural, ecological, healthy and pleasurable to occupy, depending on the materials the client chooses and available budget. We use 'Cradle to grave' life cycle analysis meaning we reflect on where the materials come from, including embodied energy (production, transportation and placement), how this may be offset in the performance of the material (thermal efficiency, longevity and limiting off-gassing) and how easily the build will eventually return to the earth at the end of its life (it's potential to be reused, recycled and composted). Using methods which aim to maximise the use of local, organic, reclaimed and reused materials within construction, we tackle both ecological new-builds and sympathetically convert, conserve, and restore existing buildings.
